Trainings

understand each other,

Helping teams

so you can work better, together.

Why This Matters

Most workplaces want people to do their best work. At the same time, few have created environments where different ways of thinking are understood, supported, and allowed to thrive.

The reality is that most workplace systems are designed around a limited range of ways of thinking and working. Over time, those systems become the default. Meetings, communication habits, hiring practices, and expectations are shaped by what feels familiar and efficient to the people who built them.

When this happens, people who think and work differently can struggle to fully contribute. This isn’t because they lack ability or motivation. It’s because the way work is structured doesn’t always make their strengths easy to use. This can lead to untapped potential, uneven participation, and people struggling at work.

It’s estimated that at least one in five people is neurodivergent, which means most workplaces already employ neurodivergent people whether they realize it or not.

That means neurodiversity isn’t a niche topic or a trend. It reflects how many of your own team members actually think and work.

When organizations understand this and are able to make thoughtful adjustments, it becomes easier for employees to do their best work. Collaboration improves, and teams function more smoothly.

Our trainings help you do that. They build the clarity, skills, and shared responsibility that support better day-to-day work for everyone.

Did you know?

Even neurotypical people (those whose brains work in more typical ways) can still have neurodivergent traits?

Who This Work is For

Our trainings are designed for organizations that want their teams to work more clearly, effectively, and sustainably.

They are especially useful for:

  • Managers and people leaders who want to support their teams without micromanaging.

  • HR and People Operations teams navigating real, day-to-day workplace challenges.

  • Teams working across different roles, communication styles, and expectations.

  • Organizations that know something is not quite working as well as it could and want practical ways forward.

You don’t need to become an expert in neurodiversity to benefit from this work. Many organizations start simply because they want fewer misunderstandings, smoother collaboration, and environments where more people can contribute what they do best.

How Our Trainings Work

Our trainings are designed to be practical, focused, and grounded in real workplace experience. They are built to support learning that translates into everyday work, not just good conversations during a session.

Participants can expect:

  • Clear, plain language that avoids jargon and oversimplification

  • Real workplace examples that reflect common challenges and tradeoffs

  • Opportunities to reflect and discuss in small groups

  • Practical tools and strategies that can be used right away

  • Content tailored to roles and context, including managers, HR, and teams

Sessions are designed to meet people where they are. Whether an organization is just beginning this work or looking to deepen existing efforts, the focus stays on clarity, shared understanding, and approaches that make work function more smoothly.

A Clear Learning Path

Our trainings are designed as a progression. Each step builds on the one before it, helping organizations move from understanding to practical, day-to-day change.

Organizations can enter at different points, but most begin with our foundational awareness training Neurodiversity in the Workplace before moving into deeper, more applied work.

Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Foundational understanding. This training builds shared language and context around neurodiversity at work. Participants gain a clearer understanding of what neurodiversity is, how it shows up at work, and how common norms and expectations can unintentionally create barriers.

This is the recommended starting point for organizations that want a strong, practical foundation in neurodiversity.

We also offer adapted versions for schools and community groups. The core concepts stay the same, but the examples, language, and practical strategies are tailored to classrooms, student support settings, and community-based programs.

TIP: If you’re a community organization, an employee resource group, or are looking for a speaker for a neurodiversity or disability awareness month event, this is a great place to start. This session works well as a standalone talk and helps people understand the basics in a clear, practical way.

Awareness into Action

Turning insight into everyday practice. This training helps teams take what they have learned and use it in real situations.

Participants look at how shared responsibility supports effective collaboration, and how small shifts in mindset, communication, and expectations can improve day to day interactions within teams.

The focus is on moving from knowing to doing, with practical strategies people can use immediately.

Applied skills for workplace realities. These workshops offer focused, hands-on learning around specific workplace systems and interactions that most affect neurodivergent employees.

They are designed for organizations ready to apply learning in targeted, practical ways and support more consistent inclusion across teams.

Workshop focus areas include:

  • Communication

  • Executive Function

  • Meetings

  • Recruiting and Hiring

  • Disclosure, Accommodations, and Self Advocacy

Workshops can be offered individually or tailored as part of a broader engagement, depending on organizational goals and context.

What Happens Next

Every organization is different. A short conversation helps clarify what would be most useful for your teams and where it makes sense to start.

We’ll talk through what you’re facing in your organization, what you want to improve or achieve, and which trainings best support your goals.

There’s no obligation and no expectation that you decide anything right away. And if we’re not the right fit, we’ll happily point you towards something that is!
